Yay! Life is getting back to normal after the whirlwind of the holidays. And our portrait drawing class is back in session. Peter has been modeling in the Ann Arbor area for years, but I haven’t had many chances to paint pastel portraits of him. He is an accomplished dancer and usually poses for our figure drawing classes. It’s interesting to look back on years of my sketches of him as we both grow older. Time flies…way too fast!

This is a wonderful portrait of Peter. You’ve captured that wonderful look he has of concentrated disinterest (I mean that in a good way). He’s one of my favorite models.
