ITALY


I’m not sure why I love to paint in Italy so much. Is it because I’m half Italian?
Because Italy is the home of the Renaissance, or because it is a drop-dead beautiful country?
Probably all of those things. I’ve done hundreds of paintings of Tuscany and have recently
moved on to the hills Umbria where most of these plein air watercolors were done.
