PASTEL GALLERY I have come to pastel painting fairly recently and have become a complete convert. The rich, pure color is hard to beat in any medium and when created on archival paper and framed, lasts as long as oil or acrylic. Landscapes, portraits and commissions all sing in pastel! The Impressionists loved pastel for its vibrancy and ease of use and I do too!
