FARMSCAPES

Paint what you know! I spent long, lazy weekends this summer on the back roads of Michigan,
painting quick plein air studies of our county's beautiful farmsteads. Each one is unique
and yet somehow connected. Barns, fields and farms are quickly vanishing in our area
and I wanted to document these landscapes in watercolor before they disappear completely.
